I don't want the side effects of estrogen, and this product is almost as effective as an estrogen cream if I use it about every two days. And yes, the tube version is less expensive than the version with individual prefilled applicators. But it's also significantly harder to use. The cream is fairly liquid and when I try to squeeze it into the applicator, half of it goes all over my hands. I end up not being able to apply it as well and it goes all over my thighs. When I consider how much gets wasted and the annoyance of filling the applicator, I'm not sure the tube version really does much more for me than the individual applicators.

Much less expensive than the individual applicators. Easy to use and easy to clean. Recommended by my gynecologist to treat the dryness caused by lack of estrogen following surgery for uterine cancer.
